This 3.5 Hour Workshop will Help You Refine Your Teaching Skills + Practice Skills
Enjoy a Rocket Yoga style warm-up designed to strengthen and prepare the body for a variety of beginner and intermediate arm balances and inversions. Next, we’ll break down how to practice and teach a variety of beginner and intermediate arm balances and inversions. This will be a fun and educational workshop where various teaching techniques and methods will be explored with a focus on preparatory strength, alignment, and modifications to help you make arm balances and inversions accessible to most everyone.
Look forward to a strong, yet playful workshop while gaining the confidence to bring these poses to life in both your classes and your practice!
Patricia Ploeger has been a fitness and yoga maven for OVER 30 years. She opened OMCORE yoga + body in 2012. She is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher and continuing education provider with countless hours of experience teaching yoga over the past 20 years. In addition to her personal experiences as a forever yoga student, her formal studies include a 200-hour Integrative Yoga Therapy training, a 200-hour advanced Rocket Yoga training under Marie Russel, a 500-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga training in Goa, India, and Ashtanga Yoga intensives and various workshops with Kino MacGregor, Dharma Mittra, MatyEzraty, Jason Crandell, Kathryn Budig, Baron Baptiste, and David Swenson. She is trained in the CORE BARRE System of Smart Movement™ and Schwinn Cycle™ and is a licensed massage therapist, practicing since 2002.
Patricia’s sessions are grounded in the idea that all forms of yoga, exercise, and bodywork can be fun, uplifting, and enlightening. She is committed to helping others feel inspired, healthy, and strong so that they may experience a life of balance and wellness.
